Request:
“Based on the information published [FOI requests related to ScotWind], 17 applicants have been offered an option agreement for a total of nearly £700m in option fees. Of the 17 offers, which ones have been signed?”
Response:
Crown Estate Scotland offered the initial 17 option agreements in January 2022, and they were all signed in April 2022.
Three more offers were made through a Clearing process in August 2022, which were signed in November 2022.
At this point in time, none of the option agreements have stepped into lease; the projects are still in the pre-planning phase.
