On reading the information on the [Offshore Solution’s Group] website, it seems that they signed a two-year Exclusivity Agreement with Crown Estate Scotland for areas of the seabed in the Moray Firth. I would very much like to know how this agreement came about and what factors were considered in making this decision.

A subsidiary of Offshore Solutions Group signed an exclusivity agreement with Crown Estate Scotland for two areas of the Moray Firth on the 3rd April 2025.
An exclusivity agreement places a hold on a specific area for a fixed period of time. During that time Crown Estate Scotland will not enter similar agreements with others over the same area of seabed. It does not guarantee that a long term lease will be signed. It does not grant full development rights to an area.
