Request
All signage at properties owned by Crown Estate (Scotland) have recently been changed to new ones, replacing fairly new ones that previously had a silver/grey background.
Can you advise me who has paid for the change in signage and what it has cost.
Response
The Crown Estate’s management duties in Scotland transferred to Scottish Government on 1 April 2017. Crown Estate Scotland (Interim Management) is a new entity, which required new branding.
In response to your query:
Who paid/pays: Crown Estate Scotland (Interim Management) will be paying for the new signage
Cost: although the cost hasn’t been finalised yet, we estimate a cost of £31,900 (plus VAT). This includes materials and artwork costs, and installation covering signs across our four rural estates. It is an estimate until we know exact positioning of signs (the project is due for completion in the next few weeks).
