John Robertson: 6 January 1966 to 30 May 2021

It is with great sadness that we share the news of John Robertson’s death on 30 May 2021.

We know John worked with many of our partners over the years, firstly in wave and tidal energy, then offshore wind and latterly leading Energy & Infrastructure across the business. The significance of his achievements in offshore renewables in Scotland can’t be overstated.

As a member of the Crown Estate Scotland team, he was greatly admired and respected for his intellect, commitment and integrity. His kindness and support for his team were unwavering, as was his incredibly dry sense of humour. We are honoured to have had him as a colleague and as a friend.

Our thoughts are with John’s family.
