Please could you provide details of any marina projects that Crown Estate Scotland has funded over the last ten years? This includes the construction of any new marinas or major upgrades to existing ones. If you could indicate the amount and timing of funding, as well as the split between capital and resource expenditure, that would be really helpful.

As the figures for the 2023/24 and 2024/25 year have not yet been finalised and externally audited, we have applied exemption 30(c) "prejudice effective conduct of public affairs" to this part of your request. It is important that due process is followed and that Audit Scotland have time to conduct their audit which is scheduled to commence November and December 2024. Crown Estate Scotland then finalise and approve the accounts.

Funding has also been allocated to British Marine Scotland. Crown Estate Scotland contributed £15,000 over 3 years towards delivery of ‘Giant Strides’ strategy (commenced February 2022) More information about the Marinas involved can be found here: Giant_Strides_2020-2025.pdf
The British Marine Scotland support is not specifically related to marinas but is intended to support the marine tourism sector more broadly.
