Crown Estate Scotland is to double the size of its energy and infrastructure team as part of its commitment to help Scotland meet its 2045 net zero targets.
Over the coming weeks, applicants will be sought for seven roles covering a host of disciplines. The expanded team will work on ScotWind Leasing and the next generation of offshore wind projects, as well as new or emerging opportunities including Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS), hydrogen and wave & tidal energy development.
ScotWind is Scotland’s current offshore wind leasing process – the first of its kind in a decade - and is set to deliver enough green electricity to power every home in Scotland and make a major contribution to the getting the country to net zero by 2045.

The new roles will help expand and develop Crown Estate Scotland’s work in helping decarbonise Scotland’s energy supply, attract inward investment, and deliver major benefits to Scottish communities.
