Response:
1. Enclosed are the documents which were submitted by Galantas Gold for the Gairloch site.
The redactions in ‘Red’ contain personal data as defined under the UK General Data Protection Regulations (UK GDPR) and release of such information would contravene data processing principals; therefore, 11(2) under EIRS is applied.
The redactions in ‘Blue’ is information with exemption 10(5)(e) – confidentiality of commercial or industrial information applied.
Disclosing this information, at this point in time (the application process hasn’t concluded) would substantially and likely harm Galantas Gold as the information is specific to their processes and would breach confidentiality between Crown Estate Scotland and Galantas Gold.
Disclosure at this point of time would also undermine the application process, effecting Crown Estate Scotland’s application process and ensuring best value for Scotland as per the Scottish Crown Estate Act 2019.
2. Enclosed are all the emails relating to the Gairloch project and Galantas Gold.
The redactions in ‘Red’ contain personal data as defined under the UK General Data Protection Regulations (UK GDPR) and release of such information would contravene data processing principals; therefore, 11(2) under EIRS is applied.
The ‘Green’ redaction falls under exemption 10(4)(e) under EIRS – Internal communications.
The form attached contains our internal references and process that is required for our asset management and finance systems. Withholding this form does not impact the information the public is receiving as this information does not provide anything useful, nor is it within the scope or nature of this request.
